Beginning on a Buckeye and Sugar tree marked SH and in the fork of a branch of Noah's Creek of Duck river called the horse branch running East ten poles to a stake thence oblong North and West for Complement April 3, 1809 Thomas Crosslin --------------------------------------- TSLA, Record Group 50, Roll 33, Records of the Second Surveyor District, Series III Plats and Surveys, Book 28 Survey Number 2884, Returned 10 November 1811 State of Tennessee, Second District} By virtue of Entry Number 1345 dated the 3rd of April 1809 founded on warrant Number 3175 for 640 acres issued to the heirs of Jeremiah Litteral by the Secretary of North Carolina the 19th day of December 1785 I have surveyed for Thomas Crosslin 20 acres of land Situate lying and being in the County of Bedford in the 2nd District and on the waters of Noah's fork of Duck River. Beginning at a buckeye and Sugar tree marked SH Standing in the fork of a branch of Noah's Fork called the Horse Branch, running from thence East Ten Poles to two beeches and a Sugar Tree, thence North 80 poles to a forked chestnut on the West side of a ridgeand near the top thereof and thence West 40 poles Crossing a branch to a white walnut and Stake; thence South 80 poles to a beech and Sugar Tree thence East 30 poles to the beginning.
