               THE STATE OF TENNESSEE. -- No. 12841

         TO ALL WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETINGS:

    KNOW YE, That in consideration of Military Service per-
formed by John Ralphs to the State of North Carolina
warrant No. 3103 dated the 8th day of December 1785 for  
640 acres and entered on the 1st day of July 1816 for 
No.  9395


There is granted by the said state of Tennessee, unto   John Hall    assignee
of the heirs of the said John Ralphs.

A certain tract or Parcel of Land, containing fifty acres part of sd warrant 
by survey bearing date the 16th day of July 1816 lying in the Second
District of Bedford County on the east waters of Sinking Creek
a South branch of Duck River and & bounded as follows to wit   Be-
ginning at an elm & Ironwood?. Edward Kings northeast  cor-
ner. running thence South, twenty seven poles to an elm, hickory 
& Cedar. George Ladens, North West corner, thence East. South   
his line Sixty nine & five tenths poles to a Stake in a Cedarglade   
thence north one hundred & thirty poles to a Dogwood & Cedar
thence, west one hundred & forty three & five tenths poles to  
two white oaks in the East boundry line of a Survey made in
the name of Tubby? T? Hagd?, thence south ten poles to three 
white oaks the north west corner of Wm Hartsfields 53 1/4
acre survey thence east 92 5/10 poles to an ash, cedar & 
Elm,. his corner. thence South 92 5/10  poles to a red oak    
Dogwood & two Cedars his south east corner thence  
West to theBeginning.

With the hereditaments and appurtenances. To have and to hold the said tract 
or Parcel of Land, with it appurtenances to  the said       John Hall
                       and his heirs forever.  In witness whereof,   Joseph       
McMinn? Governor of the state Tennessee, hath hereunto set his hand, & caus-
ed the great seal of the state affixed, at Murfreesboro, on the 9th
day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and  eight
