BEDFORD COUNTY, TN - COURT - Walter B. Sorrels to Alfred Jacobs, 3 Dec 1824 ----¤¤¤---- Deed Book FF, pages 271-272 This indenture this 3rd day of December Eighteen hundred and twenty four between Walter B. Sorrels of the County of Hardyman(sic) and State of Tennessee of the one part and Alfred Jacobs of the County of Bedford of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Walter B. Sorrels for and in consideration of sum of four hundred and fifty Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof the said Walter B. Sorrels doth hereby acknowledge hath granted, bargained and sold, alienated and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell and confirm unto the Alfred Jacobs, his heirs and assigns forever all that tract, piece or parcel ... lying and being in the County of Bedford and State aforesaid and being on the head waters of one fork of the Garrison fork of Duck River and bounded as follows: Beginning on a beech on the top of the ridge on the west boundary line dividing the land of John McBride and Samuel Hanner it being a three hundred acre tract that John McBride did purchase of Col Andrew Erwin and running an Eastwardly course to a stake nine poles below the spring that Joel Dayshields(sic)* uses water of and from thence an East course to the East boundary line of the said three hundred acres as aforementioned and thence north to the top of the ridge that divides the waters of the Garrison fork and McBrides Creek thence with the meanders of said ridge a westwardly course and following the line as called for in said McBrides Deed to the beginning. Supposed to be one Hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less together with all and singular the right hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the sd. Alfred Jacobs forever and against the lawful claim or claims of all persons or manner or persons whatever whereby the same might be affected. In witness where of I the said Walter B.
