Between William Keele, of the one part, of Coffee County and State of Tennessee, and William Sharpe[sic], of the other part of Bedford County and state aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said William Keele, for and in the consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to him paid in hand, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged doth bargain and sell, and by these presents doth bargain and sell, unto him the said William Sharp a certain parcel or piece of Land, situated and lying and being in the County of Bedford, and state aforesaid, on the waters of the Garrison Fork of Duck River, Beginning at a beach[sic], and ash the North West corner of a fifty two and a half acre Tract of Land formerly owned by Martin Hancock, Now in the possession of said Sharp, Running North along the East boundary line of another Tract of land belonging to the said Sharp, fifty two poles and a half to the North East Corner of said Tract, Thence Running West along the North boundary line of said Tract sixteen poles to a stake in the middle of the Garrison meeting house road, leading from Puncheon Camp, thence Running a little North of East with the middle of said Road to a stake in the West boundary line of a five acre Tract of land entered by Joseph Carney, Now in the possession of Smith Carney Thence South with said line nine poles to a Lynn corner it being the South West corner of said Tract, Thence East with the south boundary line of said Tract to its Beginning Corner, which is in or near the West boundary line of a Tract of land Joseph Carney purchased from Andrew Erwin, Now in the possession of Smith Carney, Thence South with said Line fifty six poles to a Beach Corner in the North boundary line of the first mentioned Tract of land, Thence with said line to the Beginning - and District No. 1, Containing by survey twenty one acres and one hundred and nine and a half poles - be the same more or less - To have and to hold the before mentioned Tract of land, Together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining unto him the said Sharp, his heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns forever, And the said William Keele for himself his heirs Executors, and Administrators doth Covenant and agree to and with him the said Sharp, his heirs, Executors, administrators and assigns in and to the before mentioned Tract of land, and bargained premises free from the claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof the said Keele hath hereunto subscribed his name, and affixed his seal the year and day above written. Robinson Subscribing Witnesses to the within named deed, who being first sworn depose and say that they are acquainted with William Keele, the bargainor-and that he acknowledged the same in their presence upon the day it bears date.
