Tolbert and John H. Tolbert or any other having possession of or liable for the same a legacy distributive Share which has descended to me from one Thomas Tolbert, Deceased late of the County of Bedford and State of Tennessee and all necessary receipts, Bonds and acquittances for me and in my name to Execute for and about the Same. Also the said Blau Maupin to act as my Attorney as above authorized with the said James Tolbert as administrator of Nancy Tolbert. I do further empower my said Attorney to Sue for and recover the same or any part thereof whether the same be real or personal Estate and for that purpose to make and employ one of more Attorneys under him and to do all other acts and things necessary to accomplish the object of this power at my expense and charge and I do hereby ratify and confirm the lawful actings and doings of my said attorney in the premisses as fully as if I was present and doing the same myself this first day of November 1847 A.
