Sally, Moses & Micager Payne to Zebediah Payne, Bedford
Co., TN, 16 Dec 1823

(Transcriber's note: Although named at the top of the page and in the first 
part with Sally & Moses, there is no indication by the clerk that Micager 
Payne signed, nor is Micager listed by the clerk in the certification as 
joining Sally & Moses in acknowledging the document in open court.)

Bedford Co., TN, deed book R, pg. 496:

496) Sally Moses & Micager Payne to Zebediah Payne B Sale
State of Tennessee ) To all whom it may concern I Sally
Bedford County.....) Payne Moses Payne & Micager Payne
all of the County & State aforesaid do hereby assign & relinquish
unto Zebediah Payne of the same place all our Right Title
Claim & Interest to the following named property to wit one
negro Girl named Salah also forty acres of land whereon the
said Sally now lives it being part of 121 acres of land belonging to
Shrewsbury Payne at his decease it being her dower of said Land
also Two Hundred & fifty Barrels of corn which is in cribbs at
Moses Paynes also his stock of hogs cattle Horses &c Be it further
understood that the said Zebediah Payne Hath this day endorsed
For the said Moses Payne in the Shelbyville Bank for the sum of
800 Dollars payable in sixty days & in case the said Z Payne
should not have the said sum of 800 dollars to pay in the said
Bank for the said Moses nor no part thereof nor be damaged
in nary way whatsoever by endorsing for the said Moses in said bank
then this obligation to be null & void otherwise to remain in
Full force & virtue in law In Witness whereof we have
