434) George Whitson to Moses & Micagah Payne 200 Acres
This Indenture made this Twenty first day of
October in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Eight
Hundred and nineteen between George Whitson of the
County of Bedford and State of Tennessee of the one
Part and Moses and Micagah Payne of the County o
Bedford and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth
That for and in Consideration of the sum of Two Thousand
Dollars to me in hand paid by the said Moses & Micagah
Payne the receipt whareof is hereby Acknowledged hath
Granted bargained Sold Allen Conveyed & Confirmed
And do by these presents Grant Bargain Sell Allien
Convey and Confirm unto the Said Moses & Micagar
Payne their heirs and Assigns forever a Certain Tract or
Parcel of Land Situate Lying & being in the County of
Bedford on Dawdys Creek a north branch of the Wartrace
Fork of Duck River Begining at Two Lynns & a
Beech Runing East one hundred and ninty six poles
To an Elm Buckeye and hickory in William Crebbs
Line thence with his line north forty six degrees
West forty five poles to an Ironwood & Black Oak
Said Crebbs Corner thence north fifty & a half degrees
East Sixty Six poles to a hickory another of Crebbs Corners
Thence with his line north Eighty one degrees East
Thirty Seven poles to Two Dogwoods and an ash thence
North Eighty Eight poles to an ash & hickory thence west
Two hundred and Twenty three & a half poles to a
Beech thence South one hundred & Sixty Eight Poles
To the Begining containing 200 Acres be the Same more or Less

Together with all & Singular the rights profits
Emoluments hereditaments and appurtenances of in & to
The Same Belonging or in any wise appertaining
To the Only proper use & Behoof of them the said Moses
And Micajer Payne their heirs & assigns forever and
I the Said George Whitson for myself my heirs Exe. adm.
and Assigns do Covenant & agree to & with the said Moses
And Micajer Payne their heirs & assigns that the before
Recited Land and bargained premises I will warrant &
Forever defend against the right Title Claim Interest an
Demand of all & every person or manner of persons
Whatsoever in Witness whareof I the said Geo Whitson
Have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the

Crebbs and Willis Green Subscribing witnesses thereto &
Ordered to be Registered Given under my hand this
12th January 1820
