R. Talbert, Elizabeth Pepper, Patsey Myers and John H. Talbert State of Tennessee, Bedford County} Whereas William Talbert late of the county of Bedford and state of Tennessee died possessed of certain property in the said County of Bedford both real and personal and whereas there may exist a doubt to whom should be distributed the estate of said William Talbert and who does stand in relation of next of kin to the deceased. Now this article witnesseth that I Thomas Talbert of the County of Jackson and State aforesaid do by these presents relinquish and assign over to James R. Talbert, Patsey Myers, John H. Talbert and Elizabeth Pepper all my Right title claim and interest that I may have or be entitled to of the estate of said William Talbert as next of kin and father of said William Talbert, deceased except one fifth part thereof of an equal proportion thereof to be divided among the said James R., Patsey, John H., Elizabeth and myself which is hereby reserved to my own use and benefit.
