Thomas Talbert to J. R. Talbert, Elizabeth Pepper, Patsey Myers and 
John H. Talbert

State of Tennessee, Bedford County} Whereas William Talbert late of the
county of Bedford and state of Tennessee died possessed of certain property
in the said County of Bedford both real and personal and whereas there may
exist a doubt to whom should be distributed the estate of said William
Talbert and who does stand in relation of next of kin to the deceased.  Now
this article witnesseth that I Thomas Talbert of the County of Jackson and
State aforesaid do by these presents relinquish and assign over to James R.
Talbert, Patsey Myers, John H. Talbert and Elizabeth Pepper all my Right
title claim and interest that I may have or be entitled to of the estate of
said William Talbert as next of kin and father of said William Talbert,
deceased except one fifth part thereof of an equal proportion thereof to be
divided among the said James R., Patsey, John H., Elizabeth and myself
which is hereby reserved to my own use and benefit.  In witness whereof I
have this third day of February 1829 affixed my hand and seal.

State of Tennessee, Bedford County Court} February term 1829
I certify that the execution of the within deed of relinquishment from
Thomas Talbert to James R. Talbert, Patsey Meyers, John H. Talbert and
Elizabeth Pepper was proven in open court by the oaths of Orville H. Searcy
and Abraham Martin the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be
certified for Registration.

Given under my hand at Office the 15th February 1829
