Witness that for and in consideration of the Sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Thomson Thompson The receipt Whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath given Granted, Bargained Sold and Conveyed unto the said Thomson Thompson his heirs and assigns forever a Certain Tract of parcel of Land Situated, Lying and being in the County of Bedford on the South Side of Duck River Beginning at a box elder on the Bank of the River The South East Corner a 112 Acre Tract Granted to Joseph Thompson, Thence North One Hundred and Ten Poles to a Stake, Thence Seven Poles to a Stake, thence north 10 degrees sixteen poles to an Elm and Dogwood thence South 80? degrees West Sixty five Poles to an ash & two dogwoods, thence South forty three poles to a small Elm and Dogwood, thence West Twenty One Poles to the West Boundary line of said Original Tract, Thence South Sixty nine 1/2 Poles to a Large Hickory, thence East ninety three poles to the Beginning Containing by Estimation Sixty One acres Seventy Five Poles, it being the same more or less. To Have And To Hold the and Bargained Premises With all and Singular the rights and Profits hereunto belonging or in any manner appertaining to the only Proper use of him the said Thomson Thompson his heirs and assigns forever & the said Michael Fisher for himself his heirs executors and administrators doth Covenant & agree to and with the said Thomson Thompson his heirs or assigns to Warrant & forever defend the said Premises to the said Thompson his heirs & against the Lawful Claim or Claims of each and every person or persons Whatever -- In Witness Whereof the said Michael Fisher hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and date first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered In presents (sic) of us John Thompson, Turrentine Michael Fisher State of Tennessee, Bedford County, April Term 1819 I, James McKissick Clerk of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions of the County aforesaid do hereby that the execution of the Within deed of Conveyance from Michael Fisher to Thompson Thompson for 61 acres & 71 poles of Land was Acknowledged in Open Court and ordered to be for registration.
