Know Yea that I the said Martha Thompson for and in consideration of the Natural Love and affection that I have and bear unto my beloved Daughters Elizabeth and Zilphia Thompson of said County and for Diverse Other Good Causes and Considerations my hereunto Meaning have Given and Granted unto the said Elizabeth and Zilphia Thompson Two Negro boys known by the names of Abram and Lewis and I hereby declare that the True and Intentional Meaning of this Gift is that If Either of the above said Children should decease before the age of Twenty one years or Marriage the Survivor of them, the said Zilphia and Elizabeth shall have both the Negroes hereby Given forever To have and to hold and enjoy all and Singular the Said two Negro Slaves Abraham and Lewis to them the said Elizabeth and Zilphia Thompson, their Executors, Administrators and Assigns to the only proper use and behalf of the said Elizabeth and Zilphia Thompson, their Executors, Administrators and Assigns forever of the survivor of them as above given and limited and I the Said Martha Thompson for myself and my heirs, Executors and Administrators and Assigns, the said Two Negroes called Abraham and Lewis to the said Elizabeth and Zilphia Thompson, their said Executors, Administrators and Assigns against all persons Whatsoever, That I will warrant and defend by these presents.
