Thompson to Thomas Thompson This indenture made this Second day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Eighteen Between Thomas F. Thompson of the County of Bedford and State of Tennessee of the One Part and Thomas Thompson of the County and State aforesaid of the Other Part. Witnesseth That the said Thomas F. Thompson for and in Consideration of the Sum of One Hundred Dollars To him in hand paid the receipt Whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath Given, Granted, Bargained and Sold unto the said Thomas Thompson and by the presents doth Give, Grant, Bargain and Sell unto the said Thompson his heirs and assigns forever a Certain piece or parcel of Land Situate Lying and Being in the West side of the north fork of Duck River it being a part of a One hundred and Eighty five Acre tract deeded to said Thompson F. Thompson By John Newman a part of a 5000 acre survey granted to Anthony Newman. Beginning at a Dogwood and Two Cedars on the West Boundary Line of Said 185 Acre Tract, thence East One Hundred and Twenty Poles to a red bud on the bank of the north fork thence down the Various Meanders of the Same to a Cedar on the Bank of the Creek The South East Corner of Said 185 Acre Tract deeded by the said Newman to Said Thompson, Thence West with Said Line to the South West Corner one hundred and twenty poles to the Beginning Containing by Estimation ninety seven Acres Containing by Estimation Ninety Seven Acres One Hundred and Thirty five Poles It being the same More or Less. To Have and To Hold The aforesaid Land and bargained premises With all and Singular the Appurtenances in and to the same belonging in any way appertaining to the Only Proper use and behalf of him the said Thomas Thompson his heirs or Assigns. To warrant and forever defend the said premises against him only, his heirs, Executors and Administrators unto the said Thomas Thompson his heirs and assigns. Witness Whereof the said Thomas F.
