Witnesseth that the said Thompson Thompson for and in consideration of the Sum of one thousand and fifty dollars to him in hand paid by the said Jacob Fisher, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath Given, Granted, Bargained, Sold and Conveyed and Confirmed And by these presents doth Give, Grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm, unto the said Jacob Fisher his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situated in said County on the South side of Duck River near Thompson's Ford. Beginning at an Elm and Dogwood on the bank of the River, Running South eighty degrees West sixty five poles to an Ash and two Dogwoods, thence South fifty three poles to a small Elm and Dogwood, thence West twenty one poles to a stake in the West boundary line of a one hundred and twelve acre tract granted to Joseph Thompson, Thence North with said line twenty five poles to the South East corner of a 20 Acre Tract Granted to M. Fisher, an Elm and Ash, thence West ninety poles to three Ashes in the East boundary line of a 5000 acre tract Granted to Anthony Newman, thence South one hundred and forty four poles to two white Oaks in Crowell's line, thence East with said line sixty five poles to a Dogwood the South West corner of a small Tract of land Granted to George Haun, thence North twenty two poles to a forked white Ash in his corner, Thence East with Haun's line fifteen poles to a white Oak in the West boundary line of a Tract of land belonging to the heirs of William Ray thence North nine poles to two cedars, their corner, a white Ash, thence East with their line forty nine poles to two cedars, their corner, thence North with another of their lines twenty nine poles to an Ash and white Oak in the South boundary line of said 112 Acre Tract Granted to Joseph Thompson, Thence East fifty one poles to a box Elder on the bank of the River, thence down the meanders of the same to the Beginning, Containing by Estimation one hundred and fifty one Acres, it being the same more or less. To have and to hold the aforesaid land and bargained premises with all and Singular the rights, profits, Emoluments, hereditaments and Appurtenances of in and to the same belonging in any way wise appertaining to the only proper use of him the said Jacob Fisher, his heirs and assigns forever and the said Thompson Thompson, for himself, his heirs, Executors and Administrators doth covenant and agree to and with the said Jacob Fisher, his heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend the aforesaid land and bargained against the lawful claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatever. Orr, clerk of Bedford County Court, John Thompson and Michael F. Parsons, subscribing witnesses to the within named deed, who being duly sword, depose and say that they were acquainted with Thom.
