Wood of the State and County aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Whitworth for and in consideration of the Sum of One Dollar to him in hand paid by the said Wood, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath released, relinquished and quit claim unto the said Wood all the right, title and interest & claim which he the said Whitworth has in and to a certain tract or parcel of land Situate Lying and Being in County aforesaid on the head waters of the Wartrace Fork of Duck River. Bounded as follows to wit: Beginning on a Sycamore tree in Finley's north boundary line on the west side of the branch running through the tract sold and conveyed to said Whitworth by Andrew Erwin, thence East with said Finley line to his North East Corner, a Sugar tree, thence north ninety poles with the east boundary line of a five thousand acre tract No. 229, of which this is a part, to a birch, thence west with Jacob Whitworth's south boundary of his 109 acre tract Eighty more poles to a stake in the fork of the branch turns through at Finley's lot, thence with the meanders of said branch to the beginning, containing forty six acres and ten poles be the same more or less to have and to hold the said tenament, tract or parcel of land with it appurtances to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Jonathan H.
