Know Ye that Ready Patterson, a Private of Captain Clipt Company (M) Fifth Regiment of Tennessee Calvary Volunteers who was enrolled on the eighteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty three to serve three years or during the war is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States this fourteenth day of August 1865 at Pulaski, Tennessee by reason of Special Order No (18) C. L. Mil Div Tenn. (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.) Said Ready Patterson was born in Bedford County in the State of Tennessee, is eighteen years of age, five feet six inches high, fair complexion, light hair and by occupation when enrolled, a Farmer.
