DANIEL'S CEMETERY, Benton Co., TN Made available to The USGenWeb Archive by Rose Beauvais - rbeau@compu.net Directions to the Daniel's Cemetery Go through the town of Big Sandy, Benton County, Tennessee heading down Lick Creek Road in the direction of Granny's Branch. Turn off onto the road that leads to the Lick Creek boat ramp. When this road ends in a "T" turn to the left. A short ways down you will come upon Vickers Road on the right. Directly behind the newer cemetery is the Daniel's Cemetery. DANIEL'S CEMETeRY HEADSTONE LAYOUT The Daniel's Cemetery is located on Vicker's Road, which is off of Lick Creek Road, right before the Lick Creek boat ramp. This cemetery sits upon a slight rise. All of the property surrounding this cemetery was owned by the Daniel's family before the formation of the Kentucky Lake. In the area above the Daniel's family burial area is the burial area for the Matheny's. An area was set aside in the Daniel's Cemetery because they were share-croppers on the Daniel's property. There are 9 graves. I do not know if they have renamed their plot. There is also a Westerman buried in this area. 1. Mary J. Daniel 6. J.U.
