Otha Ray Bomar 

1945-2007 

Funeral services for Otha Ray Bomar, of Camden, age 62, were held Saturday, Oct.

13 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Jack Bomar officiating.

Burial followed in the Calvary Cemetery. Oakdale Funeral Home was in charge of

arrangements. 

Mr. Bomar passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital.

He was born August 12, 1945 to the late Otis McCauley and Oanna Bomar. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jessie Faye

Ray; five brothers, Ollie B. Tharpe, James E. Tharpe, Shedrick McCauley, Odell

McCauley and Vonzell McCauley. 

He is survived by two sons, Shawn Bomar of Nashville and Carl Ray Williams of

Paris; three sisters, Betty Montgomery of Nashville, Annie Porter of Paris, and

Delia Tharpe of Camden; two brothers, Roger (Evelyn) Bomar of St. Louis, Mo.,

and Robert (Dana) Tharpe of Camden; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and

friends.
