Edgar Leon Clement 

1924-2007  

Funeral services for Edgar Leon Clement, age 83, of Big Sandy, were Friday,

Sept. 28, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Stockdale-Malin Chapel in Camden with Brother

Tommie Martin officiating. Burial followed in the Post Oak Cemetery.

Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Clement passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Henry County Medical Center in

Paris. He was born July 15, 1924 in Big Sandy, Benton County, to the late

Clarence Clement and Maynie Stokes Clement. 

He was retired from TVA, WW II Veteran and a Methodist. 

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Meadows. 

He is survived by his wife, Alvinell Hudson Clement; two daughters, Jacqueline

Clement Meadows of Mt. Juliet, and Cheri Clement Robins, of Collierville; two

sisters, Mary Lou Farmer of Duncan, Okla., and Virginia Presson, of Bruceton;

two brothers, William Lloyd Clement, of Murfreesboro, and Robert Clement of Big

Sandy; and grandchildren, Joshua Wayne Meadows, Weston Neal Robins and Lily Ann

Robins.
