Dorothy Hooten 

1934-2007 

Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Hollowell Hooten, age 73, of Camden, were held

Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with

Brother John Seper officiating. Burial followed in the Eastview Cemetery.

Oakdale Funeral Home was in charge of services. 

Mrs. Hooten, a homemaker, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, in Jackson- Madison

County General Hospital. She was born March 5, 1934 in East St. Louis, Ill. to

the late Milton and Mae Jobe Hollowell. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Aleen Seper

and two brothers, Earl Hollowell and Milton Hollowell, Jr. 

She is survived by her husband, Perry Hooten; a son, Danny (Francine) Hooten;

three daughters, Pamela Kay (Jessie) Rhodes Katherine Renee (Randy) Hardin and

Terry Lee (Bill) King all of Camden; one brother, Louis (Lola) Hollowell of

Boonville, Mo.; ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
