Pauline Stockdale 

1920-2007 

Graveside services for Pauline Stockdale, of Big Sandy, age 87, were held

Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at 10 a.m. in Benton Memory Gardens with Don McCulley

officiating. Ridgeway Funeral Home of Paris was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Stockdale passed away Sunday, Sept. 23 at Community Care of Rutherford

County in Murfreesboro. She was born March 28, 1920 in Dyer to the late Joseph

Overbey and Dollie Litten Overbey. 

Mrs. Stockdale was the former owner/operator of Stockdale's Grocery in Paris and

Big Sandy in the late 1950's-1980's. She was also a member of Ramble Creek

Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by three sisters and

three brothers. 

She is survived by two daughters, Fay (Gerald) Parham of Murfreesboro and

Barbara (Scott) Seale of Richardson, Texas; a sister, Modine Scarborough of

Dyer; a grandchild, Jennifer (Aaron) Riddick of Cookeville; and one great-

grandchild, Connor Riddick of Cookeville.
