MYERS
Walker and King Linage

John MYERS

John MYERS, BORN 26 October 1792, lived on Horse Creek in Greene Co TN with his aunt, Lizzie MYERS HEADRICK, wife of John HEADRICK. He died 10 March 1854 in Blount Co TN. He married Jane DUNN, born 20 October 1792 and died 2 November 1865. Both are buried in MYERS Cemetery Townsand, Blount Co TN. Her parents were Rhoda, born 22 september 1759 and died 25 August 1821, and Daniel DUNN Sr born in Henrico Co VA and was wounded in the Revolutionary War. The John MYERS family moved to Blount Co TN about 1821 along with the other DUNN and HEADRICK families.
 John and Jane MYERS had ten children.
1.	William MYERS, born 14 May 1817 and died 26 March 1895 in Blount Co TN married Mary C. WALKER b. 12 January 1822 and died 30 June 1878, the daughter of Capt. William WALKER.

15.	John MYERS born 4 May 1827 married Mary Ann TIPTON
16.	Emila "Milly" MYERS born 28 March 1829 married Calab FANCHER
17.	Susie MYERS born 5 Feb. 1833 married Abe TIPTON
18.	Nancy MYERS born 1 Feb 1831 married Bill HEADRICK
19.	Eliza Jane MYERS born 26 Dec. 1823 and died 29 March 1879 is buried at Mattox Cemetery, wear's Valley, Sevier Co TN. She married Thomas WALKER on 25 March 1840. He was born 14 March 1820 and died 7 Aug. 1893. They had fifteen children.
20.	Henry MYERS born 20 Aug. 1815 in Greene Co TN and died 30 Nov. in Blount Co TN. He married Elizabeth COTTER born 20 July 1815 and died 29 Sept. 1886. They had eleven children: Betesy Jane, Rutha, Eliza J., Ann, John Daniel, William, Nathan, Hettie, Mary, Amelia and Stephen Mack MYERS.
