Court of Pleas and Quarters, 4th Monday of February 1805, page 50. February 25, 1805. Ordered that Thomas MAJORS be allowed seven dollars for boarding Levi WILLIS from the sixth day of January last until the 25th day of July 1805. Ordered. 2. Court of Pleas and Quarters, 27th Febr 1805, Jury chosen for case John WALTON vs. John MANLIS. Jury sworn, to wit: 1. John Hanna 7. Saml Mullock 2. John Dunlap 8. Thos. Majors 3. Andrew Cowan 9. MAJORS be allowed one hundred & twenty five cents per week for keeping Livi WILLIS until ninth court. Paid out of the poor tax. 4.Wednesday, 27th Febr 1805. Ordered that Thomas MAJORS be allowed to the ___ day of November as first allowed or at the same time for keeping Lucy WILLIS. 1807 (LDS Microfilm 0888867). 1. Court of Pleas and Quarters. Session began 4th Monday of February 1807. Present: John WOODS, Joseph ALEXANDER, John GARDENER, Esqrs., Justices. 2. (Page 277) February 23, 1807. An instrument of writing was presented as the nuncupative will of Thomas MAJORS, which was proven by Oath of Joseph ALEXANDER & Elias DEBUSK, persons present at the time of the deceased publishing the same. 3. (Page 278) Monday, February 23, 1807. James HOUSTON, Robert BOYD, Andrew COWAN, Esqrs., are appointed to settle the estate of Samuel MAJORS, decsd, in the hands of Joseph ALEXANDER and Joseph McREYNOLDS. 4. (Page 278) Ordered that Widow MAJORS be allowed fifty dollars out of the estate of Samuel MAJORS, deceased, for clothing & boarding two children for the term of two years. 1814 (LDS Microfilm 0888868): 1. Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, Blount County, Tennessee, Wednesday, 28th December 1814. Cert. 30. A bill of sale from Abednigo BOAZ to William KEITH for a mulatto girl was proven in open court by Robert BOYD and Wm. TOOL, the subscribing witnesses heretofore. Wherefore it was admitted to record and ordered to be registered. 1815 (LDS Microfilm 0888868): 1. Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions. Monday, 27th of March, 1815. A list of the estate & sale of James BOAZ, decd, was returned to court & filed. 2. Thursday, 30th March 1815. Andrew JACKSON, agent for John JACKSON vs. William SHERRELL and Uriah SHERRELL. This record is recd in the name of John DUNLAP, Executor of the John JACKSON, decd., who is administrator of such, the warrant terminated by _____ and the named Andrew JACKSON and agent to which the defdt. By his attorney objected. 3. Monday, June 27, 1815. Inventory of the estate of Andrew JACKSON, decd, returned to court and filed, and ordered that the same be exposed to sale agreeably to law. 4. September 25, 1815. Administration of the estate of Joseph SMITH, deceased, granted to Margaret SMITH, who entered into bond with approved security and was qualified agreeably to law. 5. September 25, 1815. Settlement of the estate of Joseph BOGLE, deceased, returned to court & filed. 6. September 25, 1815. Administration of the estate of Lewis LEDBETTER, granted to Catherine LEDBETTER, who entered into bond with approved security and was qualified agreeably to law. 7. September 25, 1815.
