No 143. 4th July 1832 This Indenture made the 19th day of November 1827 Between Peter, Samuel, and John Maroon all of the State of Tennesee Blunt County of the one part and Silas Feagans of Rutherford County North Carolina of the other part ____ ____ that for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred and thirty six dollars paid to us the said Peter Saml and John in hand paid the receipt and ____ to him is hereby acknowledged and we the said Peter, Samuel & John have given granted bequeathed Sold and conveyed unto the Said Feagans a certain tract or parcel of land Situated Lying and being in the County of Rutherford North Carolina and on the waters (?) of first joined to James Low and others Boundary as followeth, Beginning at a Black oak in John Leguins line thence N65-W44 poles to a stake in Patersons line thence No 114 poles to a Black oak in Mayers line thence to E 102 poles to a stake thence N 102 poles to a Black oak thence to No 87 E 102 poles to a pine thence So 25-W 100 poles to a Black oak thence S 68-E 102 poles to a pine thence S 25 W 39 poles to a post Oak thence 68 W 123 poles to a pine thence to the Beginning. Containing 136 1/2 acres together with every thing that appertains in any wise there to, to the said Feagans his heirs and assigns forever free and clear from all incumbercances whatsoever contrary to the true intent and meaning hereof.
