JACOB KEEBLER, JR.



   Jacob Keebler, Jr., was born October 22, 1775, in New Castle, Del., according

to the pension application of his widow Mary Young Keebler in Blount County, in

1849. He died in Washington County. He was the son of Jaob [sic] and Catherine

Keebler. Jacob, Jr., married March 11, 1785, Mary Young who survived him. She

was born in Chester County, Penn., September 17, 1765, and was the daughter of

James and Barbara Young. The soldier had nine children, among them: Sarah, born

in Philadelphia, Penn.; Samuel, born in Washington County, Tennessee, 1804; and

James, born about 1795, who married Sarah Hawes.
