The funeral services were conducted at the family residence at 3 P.M. Saturday by Rev. George D. McCulloch, assisted by Rev. Herman Goff. Burial in Magnolia Cemetery. The infant child of Hiram Rorex, colored, died from a combination of whooping cough and measles and was buried Tuesday. Mrs. Alfred Long, nee Hudson, out at Pea Ridge, died Sunday of consumption. She was about thirty years old.
