But he himself was soon an actor, and the final result was that Jeff Davis received a severe cut and a broken jaw. Died---At his house, two miles north of this place on the 29th ult., Joseph Ambrister Esq., an old, and highly respected citizen. His remains were interred in Clark’s burying ground.
