T.R. LEE



Know all men by these presents that I, T.R. LEE being of sound mind and memory 

do make and publish this my last will and testament, which I desire all 

persons to respect after my ________ hereby revoking all wills heretofore made 

by me at any time.



1st



It is my will that my funeral expenses and just debts be paid out of any money 

that may be on hand at my death, or may come into the hands of my Executors.



2nd



I will and bequeath unto my wife ADA E. LEE the sum of one thousand and five 

hundred ($1500.00) dollars which I desire my Executor to pay to her out of the 

first moneys that may be on hand after the aforesaid debts and funeral 

expenses are paid as set forth in article 1st of this will. This sum is the 

amount I desire paid her as her share of my estate.



3d



I will and bequeath the reside of all my estate after the above bequeaths are 

paid, unto my five children THEOPHILUS B. LEE, CORDELIA B. GOTHARD, WILLIAM A. 

LEE, ROSA E. LEE and CHARLES F. LEE to be equally divided share and share 

alike.



4th



It is my will that my son THEOPHILUS B. LEE shall have the form on which he 

lives and adjoining Hackney and Lees addition to the town of Friendsville 

containing by estimation one hundred and thirty seven acres, or a part of his 

legacy as set forth in article 3d of this will, the same to be estimated in 

said division at thirteen hundred and fifty dollars ($1350) in counting his 

part of the said estate.



5th



I constitute and appoint my son THEOPHILUS B. LEE and my son-in-law DR. J. W. 

GOTHARD my Executors to carry out this will empowering them to sell all my 

personal property and real estate situate in the 2” and 4” Districts of Blount 

County, Tennessee and _____ _______ the same _________ _________ the manner of 

said sales to be such as my said Executors shall deem to be to the best 

interests of my estate.
