"In the name of God amen I Peter Snider of the County of Blount and State of
Tennessee being in the 70th year of my natural life and being of sound mind and
disposing memory and sensibel of the approach of death I have deemed it my duty
on this 7th of November in the year of our lord 1864 to commit to writing my
last will and testament and first I give and bequeath my soul to the father and
God of all my monies and my body to be entoomed in the earth in the second place
I give and bequeath the plantation on which I now live to my son George on the
condition that the said George shall give to myself and my biloved wife Polly a
comfortable support during our natural life 3rd I ordain all my personal
property not pertaining to the house to be equally divided Between my three sons
Moses B. Robinson and Martin and the 4th for me give and bequeath all our
household and kitchen furniture to be equally divided among my three daughters
Etseabelle Stephins and Elizabeth Price Humonwell Polly McClanahan 5th and last
I appoint my Sons Moses and George Snider my executors"
