Turn right and travel 1.9 miles to Harris Creek Road. Turn right and travel 1.2 miles to Harris Creek Trail. Turn left and travel 1 mile to Old Goins Road. At this point you look straight ahead to see the cemetery on the right side at the corner of Old Goins Road and Harris Creek Trail. From Cleveland, TN: Take Harrison Pike West approximately 2.3 miles to Harris Creek Trail, turn left and travel approximately 1/10 mile to Prospect Cemetery on the left. Background: Prospect Cemetery was established as a community cemetery on approximately 2 acres of land near the Methodist and Baptist Churches that was then located on Goins Rd. The property was donated to the community by G.A. Long and deeded to Sam Murray and other trustees, John Martin and J.G. Hicks, November the 15th. 1893. Book N, Pages 330-331.
