Monday the 5th day October 1840



Ordered by the Court that Dennis Trammel be appointed overseer

of a third class road leading up Gellico from the State Line to the lower

end of Robert Ross' field in place of Wm. King and that he have Wm. Ryan,

Thos. M. Right and Jacob Tramel and others living in said bounds to work

under him on said road.
