The LaFollette Press Thursday, March 9, 1933 Volume XXIV Number 9 Front Page Henry Queener Taken By Death Father of Well Known Campbell County Physician Dies Saturday; Funeral Sunday Henry Queener, Sr., father of Dr. S.D. Queener of Jacksboro, well known physician of Campbell County, died Saturday in a Knoxville hospital where he had gone several weeks ago for an operation. Mr. Queener was eighty-three years of age and was known and liked all over this section. For the past seven years since the death of his wife he had made his home with his son, Dr. S.D. Queener in Jacksboro. He has always lived near Jacksboro. Funeral Services were conducted Sunday afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. W.M. Thomas, pastor of the Baptist Church of Jacksboro, of which Mr. Queener was a member Burial followed in the Queener Cemetery. Surviving are one son Dr. Queener, and one sister Margaret Cantrell of Clinton. Minton Sharp Funeral Home was in charge of the body.
