Mrs. Sarah Newcomb Dies in Knoxville



Mrs. Sarah Newcomb, 70 widow of J.F. Newcomb died Friday night, January 13 in a 

Knoxville hospital where she had been taken.

She is survived by one daughter Mrs. R.T. Lyons of Knoxville and one son, 

Ernest W. Newcomb of LaFollette.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2:30pm from West Emory Church. The 

Rev. J.L. Seale of LaFollette in charge of the services Burial was in the West 

Emory cemetery following the services.

Pallbearers were James DeLaney, Luther DeLaney, Alex DeLaney, Joe DeLaney, Carl 

DeLaney and P.W. Hearon.
