Judges Appointed For Presidential Election
On motion It is ordered by the court that the following named persons be and
they are hereby appointed Judges to hold the Presidential Election at the
general Election grounds in Cannon County on the 7th of November 1848. To
wit

No 2. Thos. Finley  Wm Thompson and Joseph Hollis
3rd John P. Gandy  Milas Saffle  Alexander F McFerrin
4. Daniel Finley  Allen Thomas  John A. Browan
5 Isaac Young  J.L. Pendleton and Mitchel Daniel
6. William C. Miller   Sampson Stephens and James Wood
7. D.L. Elkins, Charles A. Hammonds and John Young
