Rec. bk A, p.394 William Bryson to Stephen Wilson This indenture made this Fourteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty Eight Between William Bryson of the one part and Stephen Wilson of the other part both of the state of Tennessee and County of Cannon _____that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to the said William Bryson in Hand paid the receipt he hereby acknowledges He the said William Bryson hath bargained and sold unto the said Stephen Wilson ____ his heirs or assigns a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county afforesaid on the waters of Sanders Fork and bounded as follows; Beginning at a sugar tree marked D.B. & B. thence south one hundred and twenty poles to a beach & Lynn thence east two hundred poles to a hickory thence North one Hundred and twenty poles to a stake thence West Two hundred poles to the beginning. Containing by estimation one hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less with apportainances unto the said Stephen Wilson His heirs and assign for ever and the said William Bryson for Himself His Heirs and assigns shall and will warrant and for ever defend in witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this day and year above Written signed sealed and delivered in the presents of us.
