Record BK K-107 Elam McKnight to deed 65 acres to Stephen Wilson I Elam McKnight have this day bargained and sold and hereby transfer and convey to Stephen Wilson and his heirs forever, for the consideration of one hundred and thirty one dollars & 65 cents to me paid a tract of land in the State of Tennessee Cannon County District No. Eleventh Containing by estimation sixty five acres & three Rods ____ be the same more or less and bounded as follows: Beginning on a Lynn on the South Corner of a hundred and seventy acre tract belonging to the said Wilson running South ninty poles to two Hickorys then North 65 degrees East one hundred and fifty poles to a dog wood thence North with Jones line ninty poles to a Buck by a sink hole thence west forty seven poles to a white oak thence South seventy one poles to a Buck thence West Eighty six poles to the beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said Stephen Wilson his heirs and assigns forever I do covenant with the said Stephen Wilson that I am lawfully seized of said land have a right to convey it and that the same is unincumbered. I do further covenant and bind myself my heirs and represenatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said land and every part therof to the said Stephen Wilson his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whatever. 17th day of January 1854 Elam McKnight (seal) Wit: Wesley Alin Wilson (his mark) Wm.
