G. H. PITTMAN, pastor of the Methodist church at Hartford conducted the service. Singers were Miss BERYL CARLE and CHARLES RICHMOND. Pallbearers were JESSE BUSH, FRANK LAMBERT, ALLISON LANE, WILLIAM WUERFELE, CHARLES RICHMOND and NATE LOWERY. The body was taken to Columbus, (Cherokee County) Kan., where another funeral service was held at the Rhuland funeral home at 3:30. The Rev. MERLIN BOOTH, conducted this service and Mrs. MERLIN BOOTH sang, accompanied by Mrs. BURNS CROSS. Pallbearers in Columbus: EDGAR TANNER, JOE TANNER. CALVIN TANNER, WILLIE TANNER, LONNIE TANNER and FLOYD NORRIS. Burial in Columbus Cemetery. --Survivors: Wife of the home, two sons, Leo Lambert and Frank(sic--Francis intended) Lambert, both of Neosho Rapids, and one daughter, Mrs. Iva Bollinger, of Baton Rouge, LA., and one sister Mrs. Lester Jernigan of Osage City, Kan., and one granddaughter and five grandsons. Two sons died during World War I.
