If that is the case, then Gillie B. Ervin is the oldest grave, with her having died in 1969. There was one concrete base that was partially covered with grass. It looked like a stone used to sit on it. There is a chain-link fence surrounding this cemetery, which is near the summit of a high, beautiful hill in eastern Carroll County, just a couple of miles from the Gibson County line.
