McLemore of the County of Davidson and state of Tennessee of the other part Witnesseth that the said Edward Busey for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve hundred and forty two dollars to him in hand paid by the said John C. McLemore the receipt whereof is hereby ac knowledged hath and by these presents doth give grant bargain alien enfroff convey and confirm unto the said John C. McLemore his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in Carroll County on Clear Creek a branch of Obion River in the 12 Surveyors District in the fourth section and third Range entered in the office of the Twelfth Surveyors District in the name of James Adams by entry Num =ber eight hundred & forty founded on Certificate Warra =nt No. 1775 p___ by the Commissioners of West Tennessee to said James Adams for four hundred and fifty three acres being the same land which was conveyed by the said James Adams to Samuel Woods by deed dated 21st of February 1823 and Registered in the Registers office of Carroll County the 9th May 1823 and by the said Samuel Woods the same was conveyed to said Busey by Deed dated the 19th day of November 1823 containing by estima tion four hundred and fifty three acres be the same more or less refference to said deed will ____ to hand and to hold the afore said land and bargain premises with all and singular the hereditaments and appertaining to the only proper uses & benefit of of the said John C. McLemore his heirs Executor administrators and assigns for ever And the said Edward Busey, for him self his heirs Executors and administrator &c doth here by covenant and agree to and with the said John C. McLemore his heirs Executors administrators and assigns that that the before recited land and bargained premises with all and singular the rights profits emoluments hereditaments and apperturances of a and to the same be longing or in any wise appe rtaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said John C.
