G. Ezell & his wife Sarah J. Ezell in consideration of a quit claim deed on this day executed to the said David McDonald and one executed to Sarah J. Ezell by Joseph R. McDonald hereby Quit claim to Joseph R. Mc Donald all our interest in the following described lands to wit. one tract of sixty nine acres conveyed by Spencer Bowmer to John McDonald one tract of twenty one acres conveyed to said John McDonald by said Bowmer and one tract of Ten acers conveyed by said Bowmer to said McDonald and one tract of one Hundred acres conveyed by said Bowmer to said McDonald on the 4th day of March 1858 all contained in the following bounds to wit Beg ining on a stake and two poplars for pointers on the east boundry line of a one thousand acre survey in the name of John E. McLemore being John McDonalds north East corner of a tract conveyed to him by T. A. Craw ford runs west with said McDonalds west Boundery line one hundred and forty poles to a stake in John Fuqua east boundery line, thence north forty three & one third poles to a Sassafras dogwood & sassafras pointers to Fuquas north east corner. Thence west with Fuquas north line to the north west corner of the one hundred acre tract conveyed to Jo Cooper sen by John Clary on the west boundery line of said 1000 acre survey then north with said west boundery line untill it reaches the south west corner of a thirty three & one third acre tract. Thence north to John Whites south west corner then east with whites line to E. Gwyns north west corner then south with Gwyns line to his south west corner. Thence east with Gwyns with line to his south east corner in the west line of William Travis. Then south with Travis said line to the beginning being one hundred and sixty three poles containing in all two hundred and fifty four and one third acres. Ezzell Seal State of Tennessee This day personally appeared before me W. H. Graves Carroll County Clerk of the county court of said County D. McDonald R. G. Ezell and S. J. Ezzell with whom I am personally acquainted and who acknowledged that they signed the foregoing Deed for the purposes therein contained and on the day it bear date and S. J. Ezzell the feme curent having personally appeared before me seperate and apart from her husband R. G. Ezzell acknowledged that she signed the foregoing Deed of her own free will and choice knowingly and understandingly of her own free will and choice without compulsion or restraint on the part of her husband and for the purposes therein contained and one the day it bears date Witness my hand at office this August 13th 1867.
