This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Jenny Penick Garner ==================================================================== Microfilm Roll 125, Carroll County TN Deeds Grantor: Edward Gwin Vol C, Pg. 163 Grantee: Benjamin Berry Date: 2 Feb 1834 Land: 12th Dist, Rn 3,4,5, 25 Ac ...between Edward Gwin of the County of Carroll and State of Tennessee of the one part and Benjamin Berry of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Edward Gwin for and in consideration of the sum of thirty seven dollars and fifty cents to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth bargain sell convey and confirm to the said Benjamin Berry his heirs and assigns for ever a certain piece or parcel of land being and situate in the 12th Surveyor's District Range 3 & 4 and section five bounded as follows (to wit) begining at the northwest corner of James Latimer's Two hundred acre survey running South one hundred and twenty eight poles to a stake thence west sixty two & one half poles to a stake thence North forty five degrees East to the begining forming a triangle and including therein the quantity of twenty five acres, and the said Edward Gwin for himself his heirs & convenant and agree to and with the said Benjamin Berry his heirs and assigns the title to the property aforesaid forever to warrant and defend against the claim of all and every person or persons aforesaid.
