Johnson of the county and State aforesaid have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey unto S.S. Patton of County and state aforesaid his heirs and assigns forever for and in consideration of two Hundred Dollars to me in hand and paid the receipt whereof is hereby ackn -owledged the following described tract or parcel of land lying in state and County aforesaid and Civil District the 3d beginning on a stake on the North East corner of the Aden farm formerly Known as the J. T Fuqua land with poplar & black oak pointers and runs west with Adens line 27 twenty seven poles to a small Elm bush with two post oak pointers thence North 99 Ninety Nine pols to a stake with Persimmon pointers thence East 38 3/4 thirty Eight and three fourth poles to a Stake thence South 74 Seventy four poles to a stake thence west 11 3/4 poles Eleven & three fourth poles to a stake thence south 25 twenty five poles to the beginning Containing by estimation 22 22 1/2/160 acres I covenant with the Said S. S. Patton that I am lawfully seized of said land have a good and perfect title to the same is wholly unemcumbered. I further Covenant and find myself my heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend the title to said land against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
