McDonald, have bargained and sold and by these presents do transfer and convey unto Betty Lou Penick, my undivided one half interest, her heirs and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land in 3rd Civil District, Carroll County, State of Tennessee, as follows: BEGINNING at the center of old Christmasville Road, white oak pointer, thence east 48 rods to a stake (one rod north of Aden's northwest corner); thence north 22 23/25 rods to concrete block, J. N. McDonald's inner corner; thence east with McDonald's South line 104 rods to a stake; thence south 10 3/5 rods to a concrete block; thence east 127 rods to a stake with gum pointers on Jerrell's west line; thence south with Jerrell's west line 20 2/5 (26 handwritten here) rods; thence west with Jerrell's north line 85 rods to iron stake with gum pointers in the edge of a field; thence south with Jerrell's west line 29 rods to Obion River; thence west with Jerrell and Aden's south line 76 rods to Aden's inner corner; thence north with Aden's east line 41 7/25 rods, Aden's Northeast corner; thence west with Aden's North line 70 rods thence south 54 ½ rods to Aden's inner corner, thence west with Aden's and McDade's north line 143 rods to Fowler; thence north with Fowler 83 1/5 rods to a road thence east 22 degrees south 5 ½ rods; thence east 27 degrees south 32 rods thence east 34 ½ degrees south 44 rods; thence east 19 degrees south 16 rods to intersection of road; thence north 23 ½ degrees east to the point of beginning and containing 100 acres more or less. For title see Deed Book 47, page 549 Register's Office of Carroll County, Tennessee. Will McDonald died intestate in 1944 leaving two children, W.W. McDonald and Betty Lou Penick, and leaving Jennie McDonald as surviving wife who died testate in Carroll County in April of 1967. ... Witness my hand, this 28th day of December, 1967. W. W.
