County of Carroll & 4th.Dist. and in the City of McKenzie, Tenn. By W. B. McDonald & wife Jennie McDonald to G. L. Mosely the receipt of said deed is hereby acknowledged, the value of said house & lot being Eighteen hundred dollars, and the understanding that said Mosely is to pay all taxes on said house & lot for the year 1932. W. G. Mosely & wife Ella Lee Mosely have bargained and sold, and by these presents do transfer and convey unto W. B. McDonald, his heirs and assigns, a certain tract or parcel of land in 12th Civil District, Weakley County, State of Tennessee as follows: Located in State of Tenn. Weakley County and 12th Dist of same, and is bounded as below. Beginning on a stake five poles east from tract #1-in the division of the lands of R. R. Gilbert, Dec'd. The land herein conveyed & being a portion of same, runs thence north 180-poles to a stake on the S.B.L. of the McKenzie land; thence west 107 1/2-poles to a stake; thence south 132-poles to a stake; thence east 32/18/25-poles to a stake; thence south 48-poles to a stake; thence east 65-poles to the beginning, Containing by estimation one hundred acres, to be the same more or less, but including in the boundaries, but excluding from this conveyance is fifteen acres sold off the south end of said farm to Whitsett, since owned by Weaver, also twenty five acres sold off the west end now owned by Moody, leaving only sixty acres conveyed by this deed by us, this being same land deeded us by R. O. McDonald & wife May McDonald on March 31st, 1931-same being on record in the Recorder's office in Dresden, Tenn. In deed book #70-page 389-same also deeded to us by Whitsett heirs on Feby 20th, 1931-said deed being on record in the Recorder's office in Dresden Tenn. In deed book #70-page 388. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land, with the appurtenances, estate, title, and interest thereto belonging, to the said W. B. McDonald his heirs and assigns, forever. And we do covenant with the said W. B. McDonald that we are lawfully seized and possessed of said land in fee simple, have a good right to convey it, and the same is unencumbered. And we do further covenant and bind ourselves & our heirs and representatives, to warrant and forever defend the title to said land to the said W. B. McDonald his heirs and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. Witness our hands this 23rd day of July, 1932. G. L.
