W. JOHNSON DEAD Most Excellent Citizen Passed Away Last Sunday Morning B. W. Johnson, of the Crider community, died last Sunday after an illness of several months with consumption. He had been in a very critical condition for a number of days and his death was not a surprise to the family. Mr. Johnson was 71 years old last December, a member of the M. E. Church South and one of Carroll County’s best citizens. He was honorable and just in his dealings with his fellowman and stood high in the esteem and confidence of all who knew him. He was a useful man in his community and his death is greatly regretted by a large circle of friends. He leaves a wife, three sons and two daughters. The burial occurred Monday at the Humble cemetery in the presence of a number of sympathizing friends. Additional Comments: Carroll County Democrat (J. B.
