This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Anonymous ==================================================================== I Sarah Delashmit being of sound mind and memory do make an publish this my last will and Testament in a manner and form following (Viz) 1st I will that at my death my boedy be buried in a decent and Christian Manner. 2nd I will that soon after my death as possible my Executor hereinafter named proceed to rent out my farm and hire out my negroes privately to such persons as he thinks will take care of them and sell all my perishable property except my house hold and kitchen furniture the proceeds of all of which I wish loned out at Interest except so much as may be necessary to pay my Just debts. 3. I will and bequeath to my Grand son Walter Chapman all my negroes of which I may die possessed also my tract of land the same I purchased of William E. Mc Spadden together with my household and kitchen furniture all of which I wish held and controlled as above specifyed by my Executor unitll the said Walter Chapman becomes of lawful age at which time I wish handed over to the said Walter Chapman together with all the effects arising from the rents of land hire of negroes or otherwise in the hands of my Executors. Should the said Walter Chapman die before he becomes of lawful age or without a legal heir I will that my negroes & my tract of land be sold and a thousand Dollars of the proceds be give to Jack Chapman the father of the said Walter and fifty dollars and my household and Kitchen furniture to my friend Mrs. Malissa Thilbue the balance of my Effects I will in that case equally divided between the children of my two deceased sisters (Viz) Mary Armstrong late of the State of Alabama and Alsiy Young late of the State of South Carolina.
