I John Fletcher of the County of Carroll and State of Tennessee being weake in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manna and form following (Viz) To my beloved wife Elizabeth Fletcher Should she live longer than me I give and bequeath the use and benifit and proffits of the plantation whare on I now live together with the household and kitchen funiture all the farming tools and all the stock of which I may be possess at the time of my death during her natural life, it is also my will that all my servants (Viz) Mariah Charity John Lucy Ann Betsey Green and Charles George serve and be under the controll of my wife Elizabeth Fletcher during her natural life and at the time of her death it is my wish and desire that the above named nigroes together with their future increas should there be any increase shall all and they are hereby Set free to all intent and purposes and in as full a manner as if they had been free Born. To my wife Elizabeth my Son Edward Fletcher my Daughter Mary Massey Elizabeth Baughman and the legal heirs of Malinda Mays. I give and bequeath to Each of them the sum of one hundred dollars should that amount be collected on a note I hold on T. A Crawford it is further my will and desire that all my Estate real & personal of what kind soever at the time of the death of my wife be sold to the best advantage and the proceeds of the same be equeally devided among my legal heirs. Lastly I hereby appoint Edward Fletcher and Ludwell E. Davis Executors of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
