I  George W. Peyton do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby
revoking and making void all other wills made by me at any other time. First. 
I direct that my funeral expences and all my debts be paid as soon after my
death as possible out of any money I may die possess of or may first come into
the hands of my Executor. Secondly.  It is my will that all the remaining
portion of my estate be left in the hands of my beloved wife during her
widowhood and that she in connection with my Executor hereafter named have
full control of the same and that they have full power to retain or to dispose
of the same as they may deem condusive to the interest of my said wife and
children Martha E. John B. Peyton that they have full power to purchase a
suitable tract of land for a home for her and my two children above named and
also a negro man to aid in cultivating the same should they deem it advisable
to do so Should my wife marry it is my will that all my estate be equally
divided between her and my children above named.  It is my will that my negro
woman Hanna and her two children shall not be sold at any time but that they
shall remain with my family and in case my wife marry then then the said
negroes be divided without sale between her and the two children and in case
she dies during widowhood then the said slaves be divided as above specifyed
equally between my two children.  I do also nominate and appoint John Hall my
Executor to this my last will and testament.  In testimony of which I have
hereunto affixed my hand & seal this 5th day of April 1858.
