I return my spirit to the Lord who gave it and my body to the Earth Art. 2nd. I give unto my beloved wife Mintor Rogers the tract of land whereon I now reside containing one hundred and therity five acres also all my house hold and kitchen furniture Stock of every kind Poultry plantation tools Buggy Waggon harness Gear and any other property that I may have the said land and property is given to her during her life time or widowhood and she is to have the right to sell any of the personal property and to dispose of the money received for the same in any way that she may think proper. Article 3rd. Now at the death or marriage of my wife Minta It is my will and desire that all of said land other property be sold at publick sale on a credit of 12 months and when the same is collected to be divided as follows (to wit) I give fifty dollars to my grand daughter Elizabeth Jane Hodge should she live until the death of my wofe and the ballance accruing from the sale of said land and personal property to be equally divided between my daughters (to wit) Martha Jane Hamilton Mary Elizabeth Allen Nancy Caroline Barnhart and Minta Susan Carns. Article 4th. I constitute and appoint my beloved wife Minta Rogers and Joseph Hamilton Jr my Executrix and Executor to carry out this my last will and testament.
