This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Anonymous ==================================================================== William Moore's Will In the name of God Amen I William of the County of Carroll and State of Tennessee being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory do constitute and appoint this my last will and testament in manner and form following first of all I resign my body to the tomb to be buried in a decent and christian like manner and my Spirit to God who gave it and of worldly Estat as follows: 1 Item. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Moore all the tract of land whereon I now live with all my household furniture together with the kitchen furniture and one good gentle horse one good cow and calf and one sow and pigs to have and to hold during her natural life and at the death of my said wife all the above property to be sold and Equally divided between all my children. 2 Item. It is my will and desire that all the rest of my loose property and and all my stock be sold and after paying my just debts the balance to be equally divided between all my children and it is my desire that the portion that the portion that shall fall to my daughter Delilag Cooper shall be held in trust by my two sons Samuel Moore & Avery Moore and that the same shall be laid out to purchase for her a tract of land if it be ten acres to her & her heirs forever and all that shall decent to her at the death of her mother to be disposed of in like manner. 3 Item. I constitute and appoint my two sons Samuel Moore and Avery Moore my Executors to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal Seal Signed sealed and published in the presence of James I.
