Price Cemetery in Carter County

Cemetery is located near the end of Price Rd.  on the right side, on a hill, at the base of 
Buffalo Mountain. Price Rd. is off the old Erwin Hwy just across the Carter Co. line from 
Johnson City. Houses surround the cemetery on 3 sides.   The old right of way has been built 
upon.

The Parks graves are not inside the fenced area of the graveyard.   From a descendant, 
Jean Walker, the old Price farmhouse (James P.) was just down the hill from the graveyard.  
It has burned and another house has been built in its place. Jean Walker of Surgoinsville 
is keeping up the graveyard.
