Carter County, Tennesse, land deed dated 13 October 1857.

Carter County, TN Deeds—Book M, p. 231

	This indenture made and entered into this 13th day of October 1857 
by and between Andrew Larkson on the one part and James R. Boyd Guardian 
of Nathaniel G. Boyd of the other part of the county of Carter and state 
of Tennessee.  Whereas that I James R. Boyd Guardian of Nathaniel L. Boyd 
by and order of ____________ County Court of Carter County at the 
___________ of local court appoints over guardian of my son Nathaniel L. 
Boyd do hereby bargain and sell to Andrew larkson his heirs assigns 
_______ a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Carter County in the 
7th Civil district of said county containing twenty acres more or less for 
and in consideration of our hundred and forty dollars to me in hand paid 
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.  Beginning at a stake points.
